Welcome to the Cognitive Neuroscience of Learning and Language Lab!  The lab is directed by Dr. Laura Batterink and is part of the Department of Psychology and Brain and Mind Institute at Western University, in London, Canada.

Our lab studies many different aspects of human learning, with a particular focus on how implicit and explicit memory mechanisms as well as sleep-dependent memory processes contribute to language learning.  Explore our site to learn more about our research.

Lab Values Statement

The CNLLLAB aims to promote a diverse and inclusive environment for all, in which lab members are individually valued and their ideas and unique perspectives are heard. We seek to listen to and amplify the voices of underrepresented groups, and to actively confront injustices that perpetuate leadership barriers.  We believe that diverse backgrounds and experiences lead to the diversity of thought needed for creative and ground-breaking science.
